another 3 bar map question

I've searched but I'm not satisfied with the results and got no answer.........

If I put a 3 bar map on my stock truck will that help of hurt me i plan on an ultim. chip later down th road. So im going to need one anyway. Will it help with over boost as far as seeing boost on my gauge (autometer) being 3 bar reads to 20 psi ?

You cant use a 3 bar with a 2 bar chip. Your truck will barely run if you try it. Put in the 3 bar when you get the 3 bar ultimate.

a 2 bar has a voltage output of lets say 1-5v theoretically, and a 3 bar has the same
so the 2 bar reads 14psi let say the voltage out is 4.2V,
if you have a 3 bar reading 14psi the voltage will be 3.2 volts lets say.
the range of data collected and the output of voltage is different, meaning a 3 bar sensor will not give the computer the right readings of boost anyway.

i hope this sounds simple, its the best way i can explain it,
put in a 3 bar with a chip callobrated for 3 bar readings, otherwise leave the stock 2 bar in.

and 3 bar reads to 30psi btw
