Best thing to do at that time is call me. Not sure if we'll be at my house or at Tower Shoppes in Dave (Ft Lauderdale). 305 582-6309

Tentative plan as of now is to meet at my house Friday afternoon and then caravan up to Tower Shoppes around 5-6 pm. Then back to my house to wait for the late arrivals. Saturday just hang out and work a little on trucks until evening, then caravan down to Florida City to a car show at The Mutineer. My phone is 305 582-6309 if anyone needs to catch us somewhere en route.

You guys have fun this weekend. Take some pics and have some good storys to tell me at our next meet. ;)

I'll make it to another local meet (when ever that is.. ) sometime later in the year.

What time are you guys planning on getting to the Tower Shops on Friday? (6 or 7ish?)

Thinking about meeting you there, then going back home for the night & heading back to Gary's on Saturday.

We'll have to convince dad to open his garage.

Working on it. :git:

I'm thinking I could start hosting a recurring meet over the Labor Day break. That would fill the gap between Memorial Day/Race Rock and the Winter/Miami meet. Then we'll just need to cover Spring Break...

Have fun in Miami and take care.

We made it safe, been a good time, saw some kickass cars up at Tower Shoppes.

The Top 10 Things we learned at Gary's house:

1) SyTy guys can survive on a diet of donuts, Mountain Dew, pizza & beer.

2) Glow in the dark flame jobs get people's attention.

3) Everybody hates 700r4 transmissions.

4) Powder coated brake parts, fancy rotors & braided lines are cool...but leaky fluid sucks.

5) Open downpipes sound great.

6) Big turbo trucks pull hard from a highway roll.

7) LS1 'Vettes pull harder ;)

8) Getting a menu brought out to you in a resturant parking lot is more difficult than you'd think.

9) The bush in the far corner grows greener & faster than the rest???

10) If you know the right people, you can get ANYTHING SyTy related...even Black Chrome!

Thanks guys...I had a great time getting reacquainted with everyone (and meeting a few new people).

I hope everybody had a good time. I was moving furniture all weekend.

Does anybody nearby me have a datamaster? I need to get a few runs in to find out where I sit with this beast.

Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it. Woulda been a great time. However, I did get to play with a Caterham Super 7 and an Elise, as well as showing some of those guys (that think Miatas and Coopers are fast) what a proper quick launch is firsthand (in the truck).

This weekend kicked ass.

Not only did I get insane gas mileage driving down and back up, but I woke up Miami with the open DP and PTE52 screaming.

I think a few people got a lesson on how FAST drives... at least, those who could keep up with me at Gary at 100mph average cruising.

Garys truck still is fast, just not fast enough now to keep up with me, however keep an eye on the C5 coupes, cause those things are even faster after you hit 100+. Damn Rob, you won that by a mile.

Gary got some new burnout marks thanks to Glenn with his Lightning and Quad. I added some oil and transmission fluid to his grass as well.

Miami has some of the cleanest junkyards (does that go together?!) EVER. It was so much fun, I smashed and broke more items in value than I bought. Glenn is a bad influence....or vice versa.

Leon can roll with the best. That cat would fly up outta no where and join me and Gary during our "cruising".

Gary has 2 distinct driving habits. In the Sy or out of the Sy. When hes in the Sy is when he truely is driving.... and when he says "we'll take it easy on the way back" he really means I'll keep it just under 100mph.

C6 Z06 vettes. The sweetest car ever made. The C5 Z06 next to it looked ancient.

Dariel is never on time.

I still DONT have my voice.

I dont regret taking the crx and getting 43mpg, but there certainly is nothing like racing syclones and vettes at 100 mph with a pte turbo screaming under your feet to get you motivated to work on your own stuff.

Nice meeting the new people, new trucks, and hanging out with old friends. Out to the garage to get those cv axles done and start thinkinga bout my alky kit....

And just how good was your gas milage Adam?

Around 20mpg actually. Surprized me, since I was ready to belt out high dollar for gas and have to stop every 12 miles for gas.

Cruised at 70-75mph and sat on Ians bumper the whole time, so Im sure that helped in small amounts.
