Sadly, I loss my Ty today.
i have owned the truck for over 10 years now and have done countless mods/upgrades to the truck.
i purchased it from the 2nd owner back in 02 with 44k on the clock. Prior to tonight it had 87k
I was heading home from work when I started to smell some oil burning. I pulled over and noticed a bit of a drip on the driver's frame rail but couldn't see where it was coming from. I figured I would keep an eye on the oil pressure to make sure it would make the next 20 miles to the house. About 15 miles in i heard a howling noise started to pull over and then a loud boom. I think the rear end detonated and the friction caused a spark hitting the oil drip. Within seconds the oil ignited and started to burn the rear of the truck. The fire hit the gas tank and the rest is history. My Ty is no more. One less 93 white/white non-roof rack truck gone
I can't post pics but if someone wants to host I can send them. It's a sad day....
