Damn, I really like this look. Now I have something to save for after I finish straightening out my polished stockers.

those wheels are 100 times stronger than the stockers, might want to price them out, then see what you can get for the stockers.. all in all it might not be that expensive of an upgrade.

No, I'm definately keeping the stockers, even if I don't end up using them most of the time. I realized how much I miss not having a spare set of wheels laying around for the Ty like I had for my old S10. Once I get a new job confirmed, I'm going to start shopping around for these.

i had those on my stang they look awsome but pit very quick and very very hard to get shinny again. i would powder coat them clear or paint them with something if you get them. i tried before i sold the stang to fit them on my ty and almost made it the offset was just a little off. oh well the new wheels are beytter anyways.

You need custom offsets to get TT IIs to fit on a syty. Custom wheels are only available in one style and thats not it. You'd have to get them powdercoated for that look.
So Dean, since you have these bad boys already, exactly what custom size are you running? I figure if you have the measurements, it will save me a lot of work measuring things out when I eventually get them. Thanks.

Re: American Racing Classic Torq-Thrust II

Send a PM to Tony or Nolan. They took the measurements for me while they were doing the drivetrain, and then they were ordered through Tony's work. I thought the offset was off a bit when I first looked at them but last I looked they looked fine. I may still have the paperwork for them too. AR will fax you a custom order form you need to fill out. When Tony called it in they swore the numbers were incorrect and initially refused to build them.
So be prepared for lots of fun.

Thanks a lot. I'll probably get started on this after work today.

If you read the entire post you will find out they are available in this style. I even put a link to the exact page the rims can be order on. This link can be found in Answer #12 on page #1.

They must have added them since last year. *shrug* Last year you couldn't order those rims in custom offsets.

What's the weight difference compared to the stock rims??

Does it work out to be about the same since you are "plus 1ing" them? (eg.17")
