I washed, glass beaded and coated mine with eastwood's aluminum powder

here is what I have so far. I just dont want to much black but I want to keep the colors down to just a few. I am polishing my upper intake and I have polished rpm valve covers. So should I send them to Ckeith with $??? to get something to match my lower and water pump. With return shipping would 100$ cover it??

Don't tell him that, I've been telling him to keep it. :rant: Last summer it got up to like 125* in San Jose, it's no fun rolling around in stop and go traffic in that heat with a Sy and no A/C, ask me I know :tup:

black truck. black interior and 115+ weather is not fun. If I had a 10 sec. truck the AC will be gone. This is my weekend 12 sec. truck so I plan on keeping the AC.

I do wear tank tops and shorts almost all year. I could get some fish net shirts to match my fish net stockings but I only wear those in san francisco! :lol:

Please allow me to butt in and in an attempt to de-confuse the situation, most likely confuse it more. Clean them as good as you can and send them to Chris with a crispy $100 bill for payment of the powder and return shipping. If there is any change tell him to let the coater by a beer or two with it cause less than $70 ($50 is what Chris said above I think?)for the powder and a few bucks shipping to return is cheap for both of those brackets as you have seen and been quoted depending on how ditry they actually are when you ship them. That is all :tup: ! We now return to our regularly scheduled confusion :lol: .

BTW: I have seen the powder that Chris gets laid down on the valve covers and it ROCKS!

I have the Eastwood Hotcoat kit, somewheres around $90... those I did not clean myself, had them blasted (now have my own bead blaster), then coated them. I'm about to do another set, wash them really well with a stripper then bead blast and coat.

If you do the brackets i have a set of pulleys that are coated gloss black and some spare billet ones

wash them really well with a stripper then bead blast and coat.

how much does the stripper charge to wash them? that would probably push the price through the roof!
