AFCO rear shocks

Syclone#2960

What ever it takes!!
I just got my AFCO shocks for the typhoon with a 2" drop.

Which springs should I be running?? Spring rate & OD?
Ty weights about 4k with driver.

Re: AFCO rear shocks

Those look really nice. Hope it helps your issue. I'm interested to see what you think of them for the price.

Ahhh man these are so much better...no more bottoming out. Feels weird being able to haul ass over the shitty roads now.

Re: AFCO rear shocks

Thats great news, glad they worked out. How do you have the truck lowered?

Can you give us another update in a few months when you've put some more miles on them?

Im running 2" lowering blocks and fiberglass leafs...now let me say the previous shocks were not for lowered trucks, they measured at 9" vs 7" on the new ones.

This is not new news, I've had mine from turbo time back from 2010 when the idea was introduced with QA1's.
Mine have been one of the best things I've done to my truck.

Bruce is stuck in the past, he's just trying to act brand new:grin:

Re: AFCO rear shocks

Lol. Glad you got it all figured out. Sorry I couldn't help. You are giving me ideas of ordering these springs. I don't have problems with the truck bottoming out but of course I have driven maybe 5 miles since I have owned it :( I need to swing by to check them out and go for a ride in the Ty.

Those look great. I need a little help with my truck bottoming out. Think I will look into this upgrade.

Its a hard nut $ to swallow for sure,,,but well worth not having to pucker up every time I see a bump/ dip on the road. I adjusted them to 20 clicks per the instructions recommendation.
