abs light on

Hey everyone I've got a 92 Ty with a abs light that won't reset is there any way to turn it off. If someone knows it would be greatly appreciated.

just pull the wires off the abs. Thats what I did.

Yes, the ABS on these trucks is a POS and like so many others, I will be removing mine soon. However for those who want a REAL answer, you can find it here.

read up on the link he posted. its a stored code in the abs system like a code in the ecm that has to be reset

nice link. I just got use to the little orange light being on all the time. Eventually I was thinking of removing my abs...but that's low on the list of things to do. If you fix your problem make a wrap up post to help the rest of us poor fools out.

What wires? if your referring to what wires to unplug to get the light off then there's three weather packs of wires connected at the abs module on the driver's side of the motor.. just unplug each one and tuck them away.. brakes will function fine but no abs and no annoying dumby light in your face...

I got the ABS light on after i did the front brake upgrade and when i unplug the wires my brake light would come on but the abs light would stay off.

Yeah the brake light is different all together from the abs.
