Wow,
I cant belive this site has come to people telling others to go die. . really, and you wonder why people like me who have always supported the syty life and lifestyle dont want to participate anymore. All of you can go **** yourselves. If you dont have anything nice to say shut the f*ck up.
Im also sick and tired of people saying that I dont have these trucks in my possession. BS. I have owned and driven sy 679 and ty 437 for years. Guys in Chicago and at nationals can vouch that I was at the first ever syty nats and won raddical cladding that year with my sy, and Jason from St Louis can vouch that I had my typhoon at his house before, he runs the syty authority website.
I really dont care what you guys think or think about. But telling people to go kill themselves or go Die is inappropriate. These are just trucks and Im glad I can help out someone who needs the drivetrain and help myself with some extraa parts for the ty and I dont care about the rest....If you guys need something or are willing to make a deal on something you need me to pull off let me know. but if you are above posting BS about me or my trucks you can f^uck OFF you will never get anything from me.

I have to agree in the sense that your post seems to be sort of a "buy this or else I'm going to do this." If I had the cash to buy another vehicle for parts reasons I would, but what you're talking about seems a little extreme. Apparently you've tried to offer your truck for sale before, but no one wanted (was stupid enough) to pay the price you wanted. I admittedly proclaim that my Ty has become somewhat of a money pit, but I won't just desert it and leave it to die. If you would honestly crush what is left of a beautiful thing then I would say you have no respect for the beautiful things in this world and the truck should have never been in your possession. GIVE IT AWAY BEFORE CRUSHING IT!!! If you're going to be compensated monetarily for crushing it, I challenge you to let someone else meet that price for crushing it that you have wrongfully put upon your soul... And the people on this forum are not stupid. If you try to inflate the value of the crushed Sy remnants, the fine people here will be able to call you out on it.
Our value on our trucks will go up? Whoopie!!! I don't give a $#!+. Whether you crush you truck or not, our trucks will always be rare, unique, and completely BADA$$!

Listen guys, IM not crushing the truck ,. they guy Im selling her too is. Im selling the drivetrain( engine, tranny and rear end) to another guy who needs it for another project he has. I will be taking off some parts to sell to get the money I need out of the truck. HE will be crushing what is left (his words not mine). I dont care what he does with it he will have the title.
I dont know where the sale stuff is it was under sy and ty package deal under trucks for sale.
If I were keeping it I wouldnt crush it, I would let it rust in the backyard first just like you guys. But Im not keeping it Im selling it. Im just taking off some parts to sell and some pieces I can use on my ty...So Im not getting just 2000 dollars for this truck like someone posted. Im getting 7500 for the drivetrain. I have 3500 in motor rebuild, powdercoating, and new turbo another 1500 al least. I will b taking a loss but helping others.

its his truck, i say crush it anyway if you want to, sometimes its a sense of fulfillment that you get over the giving away that just proves you lost in the battle to sell it. if i had the choice, and the price difference between what someone would pay and what i want was a big gap, hell, il take off what i can sell to make up the difference and sell the truck for what i believe its worth according to what was being paid. if i had a 11K truck, lots of bolt ons and Kenne bell items, and somebody wants to give me 7k or i can crush it, hell id pull 4 K worth of parts and that person can have whats left of truck for 7K.

You know this is an interesting post. I've owned my Sy for ~6 years and have had a love hate relationship. Priorities change and things break faster than I have money to fix'em. But I would NEVER crush it. In fact, I ONLY want to sell her to someone on this board that'll give her a good home. I also feel like it would be giving back to the community that helped keep her alive as long as she did. She's got 100k on the engine and hasn't been started in a year. I'll sell ya mine for $1,500 OBO. But you gotta come and get it. I'm in MD.
