He always gives me crap about my truck (all in fun) because he's a die hard Ford guy (me too, for the most part). Many of his putdowns are just plain lame, but I thought this was pretty funny.

Hmmmm, My buddy owns a Mustang Cobra and he's always giving me Crap about my Typhoon too! It must be a Cobra thing!! I think my buddy is just jealous because my SUV will the blows the doors off his modified Cobra.... and for a lot less money too!!

Haha. Not yet. It's just a 1993 5.0L with a 75 shot.



He has ordered a Dart 332 long block, TKO-600, Paxton Novi 2000 and enough nitrous (two 10lb bottles) to blow up several motors. That said, I?ll need to swap my turbo before too long if I want to give him a race after 60?. :tup:

322whp/300wtrq (low numbers for the hardware I added) was enough the spin the tires to 65mph. That time slip was my best in the grandma-mobile. I never got a chance to run it with slicks, play with the tire pressure or any of that jazz. I just drove it to the track (1.5hours), beat the snot out of it and then drove home.

Though I love my Syclone, those little Turbo Dodges will rape many cars from a roll with very few mods. Of course, when I get to the point that I am trapping 110mph in my truck, I'll probably be knocking on 11's.

Yup, tracking makes all of the difference when comparing et's to MPH. I'm hoping to run at least 14's on my rebuilt '89 T2 motor/trans/intercooler, FWD performance LM, g-valved @ 15 PSI, and 3" exhaust

Heh. I didn't even notice the Omni in your sig. Those cars rock. It looks like you have the setup to easily run that time. It shouldn't take much whp to make that little thing scream. :tup:

Those are actually both nice examples of 93 Cobras. I would like to have one in place of my gt. I have a friend of a friend who has a 2000ish viper with some mods, put down over 500rwhp. He talks alot of trash now but the day will come when I get my built motor in and I will have the rest on tape.

I wish I had a camera on me when I played with that 03 cobra. From 30-60 I ate him up. from 60-100 we were about even. If you could have seen the look on his face when he was not able to shake a 15 year old truck. HMMMM... He spent 35k, I spent 16k including mods. I had a 2000 gt with a novi 1000 SC so I know what stangs can do. No match for a mild mod good tuned Sy or ty.

Yeah, it doesn't weight anything. I think it will be around 2,200 lbs, but I haven't actually weighed yet :)

I just picked up an R/T for 900 bux...It needs a bit of work, but the body is mint (paint is shot though), no rust anywhere, clean interior, and only 90K on it! It blew a timing belt in 98 and has just sad since then! The guy I bought it from put a new belt on and it fired right up. He was going to steal the motor for his CSX but didnt get around to it. I just ordered some new seals, water pump, fuel/air filter, plugs/8.5mm wires and a 2.5" mandrel catback. Ill add some +20's, an AFPR, and stage II programing if it needs it after I get it back up to par. Even with the loose belt, 7 year old bottom of the tank gas, and being bone stock, this think is pretty quick! I forgot what torque steer was until boost hit in 2nd! I had a GLHS before the R/T...old Turbo Dodges are probably the only dodge products I like. Heres a pic of mine:

BTW I love the random "old person" bumper stickers on yours! Just adds to the sleeperness of it! :rotf:

Awesome catch. My $0.02, if you go the route of an upgraded computer, skip the +20's and go with the +40's, a 3-bar MAP and a computer calibrated for them. It is much more fun, will give you fuel to 400+ whp and still has great driveability.

For timing belts, only use the Gates belt (MUST be made in Italy). The UK one is junk. You can get either at O'Reilly's. Luckily, the Lotus motors are non-interference if the belt goes (mine went twice). Get the proper tension tool as well and check it regularly.
