A/C vents

Does anyone have this problem. When not on boost the A/C comes out the vents just fine. When it gets up on boost it changes to floor vents. Seems like cruise control has trouble maintaining speed when boost happens. On the hose that comes off the bottom of the throttle body there is a 1 way valve. Is there something else?? Thanks. P.S. I understand GM used to have some sort of electrical vaccuum pump for diesel cars that would work great for adding vaccuum. Does anyone have any info on this?? Thanks more..

I would check your vacuum ball or if you have one at all. The connection to it might be bad.

Then go back and check your vacuum routing with a vacuum diagram. Make sure all the one way valves are in correctly.
