93 Typhoon 700R4 value?

Hi all...newb here. I just bought Syclone #255 and have a spare Typhoon transmission (3LHM...assuming this is a '93 Ty 700R4). It's been out of the truck and sitting for a while so I don't know if I'd drop it in and go...probably could use a refresh. Truck has a 4L60e in it now so I really have no use for this trans.

Anyhow...is this worth anything more than a typical 700R4 core?

The valve body is unique and to be pedantic, it's a 4L60, not a 700R4 (Corvettes only). If it ran well, and you have a buyer prepared to take the risk, you're in the $400-500 bracket. All depends on who is buying otherwise it's a core.

So in other words, unless a Sy/Ty owner wants it, it's mostly worthless yeah? There is literally one guy in my town in Wyoming that has a Typhoon...he also just bought a Syclone. I guess I could ask him if he's interested.

Guess I should post it in the classifieds too.
