I like it. I really like it. See a few things there that are giving me ideas for mine.
And I think I understand...you got this truck as a teenager? And it's been sitting for 13 years? How long have you been actively "working" on it? And what caused it to go into storage in the first place? Blown motor?
BTW, love the Corona in the door reflection. Reward for the work. :)

Thanks! Yeah, I got it when I was about 18, it was a salvage title in MN. Supposedly (as the car salesman told us), it was stolen, they took the seats, rims, tires, and stereo, and that amounted to enough to cause a salvage title. I am skeptical on this story in my wiser age now. Anyway, I drove it around CO and MN to haul me and my buddies to the mountain to snowboard and such, did a few stereo competitions with it etc. Got a couple speeding tickets, then a big one...106 in a 65. no more license for 3 mos., no more insurance on that car. Into storage it went at my parents house in ND. No blown motor, ran just fine when I put it away. 13 years later I needed money for an offroad race car I was trying to build, tried to sell it to a buddy, but he backed out midway through the deal. So, my dad, being in a mini-midlife crisis, wanted to buy it to help me with my project, then wanted me to fix it up and make it reliable. I have had it for about the last year, working on it when I could on the side. Delivered it back to him in ND last weekend. I think I saw it even cringe a lil when he pulled it bac into that same garage... LOL.

Gotta have the Corona, I had kept the build a secret, never showed it to him, so I was a lil nervous to say the least that it was up to his expectations... thankfully it was, and he has been ripping on it by his own admission the past couple days, and still relly loves it. I am glad its gone to be honest, I cant keep out of trouble in that car, I even got a tocket in it while it was here being built, on the way to the parts store... DOH!

Thanks again, its so cool to see it is still in the family and even better than when I had it.

That's an interesting and cool story.
I am sure that it was quite a moment pulling that thing back into your dads driveway.
Don't have it on video by chance eh? That would be awesome to watch. To see the expression on his face.

the camera died right before i pulled in unfortunately. Funny thing was, he was joking about ppl's reactions in "Extreme home makeovers" crying and freaking out, then my mom said it basically happened! He had a tear for sure, lol, joke is on you pops!

Side note, that logo in the center cap of the rims is his business logo that he just recently sold, so it was kind of an homage to his legacy. He was super impressed with that.

yeah, the old rockford gear is holding strong amazingly! A testament to the quality of their gear. All I got stereo wise was a new head unit, and some new subs. Damn good stuff.
