93 ty grill on w/w question

On our 93 ty we have a black grill insert ive see the w/w's with white grills what's the deal?

On 92's they had the black insert. A 93 w/w should have an all white grill.

Huh if you check out syty jim's avatar the grill is black there too he was owner prior to Ryan. :dunno: is ther any way to get a white grill anywere ?

So any one know whats the deal ? is it possible it was black from the factory? would a build sheet tell me if it was black. and if all 93's were white is there any were I can finde one? thanx guys

Another inconsistency with PAS/GM. My 1993 White/White had an all white grill.

The majority of the 92's, along with the SoGT's were charcoal headlight buckets and grilles with the argent cladding on colored bodies. Most black trucks had black cladding/black grilles. A few black trucks had argent cladding. 93's were solid colors (grille & cladding).
I bet the 93 press release pic that Ken posted up was a pick of a 92, honestly.

I understand but my 93 has a black grill like the pic. So was it replaced or factory I'll try to post pic.

Take a look at very bottom of grille, the part hidden by front cover see if there's small holes in front edge

from what Ive seen, those holes are on factory installed grilles only, I had a GM over the crounter grille dated 1994 and there were no holes, just a observation not gospel

I have an aftermarket chrome grill that has those holes and had a little splash guard of some sort installed.
