Guess i'll make a build thread for this bomb since I plan on doing stuff to it since I got motivation to work on it by going to nats. Guess well start with some history on this truck my mom bought this truck brand new back in 1993 as payback from my dad trading her Grand National. It was a everyday driver went the KC nats in 2000 has went to the beach several times, still had very good original paint up until January when my house was set on fire I drove it off the carport on fire then sent it off to the body shop to be redone. It has been a very good truck has 183000 miles on it the motor was redone a couple years ago but theres been no mods done to the truck its stock as can be. Plan on redoing the interior since there really isn't anything from the front seats back, got to fix the tailgate handle, maybe put a exhaust on it, and clean up everything underneath.

It was great to see this truck make it to Bowling Green and (mostly) back to it's glory...Sure once the interior is finished up it will be just as beautiful as the exterior. :tup:

Thanks Nate I'm glad it made the trip there and back very well and definitely gave me the motivation to get back on it. And Brian it was good to finally meet you and I'll get in touch with Mike may have to make a trip up to PA soon.

Don't have time to post too much but here's a picture of #1710 I drive it about once every week but gave it its first wax job on Tuesday since it came back from paint in June I believe it was? An took the wiper arms off and put a Sportmachines decal in the center of the windshield down near the cowl.

Haven't done much to it lost interest in it and its been sitting since the power tour after I had it towed home. I got it out Wednesday and gave it a bath and cleaned it up and drove it on Thursday. The distributor is lose I need to tighten it down I can't see the bolt though so that should be fun... And I need to get new rubbers for the qtr. windows.

I have a headliner and a back seat off a 93 and the rear panels pm me and we can work something out if interested.

Lol yeah it prob was a site I couldn't tell bc of all the smoke in the truck lol but yeah I started it up and drove it off the carport before it collapsed onto it

I may get with you on some of that I have some of the rear panels and ill prob get a headliner from a yard around here or a board atleast and recover it I have some mint sun visors and original PAS decals. The rear seat I really only need the upper cover and then the passenger seat upper cover it deformed my headrest on that seat

Got the distributor tightened down went in from the drivers side with a 9/16 inch wrench much easier if you remove the two bolts holding the coil down and move it out of the way. I took it for a spin seems to be running better, and spools better its also not as hesitant from taking off from a dead stop. I need to get two exhaust clamps to put on the pipe I put where the muffler went. The reason behind this is the muffler had a gigantic hole in it and was complete junk after I got it off. There's a some sort of fluttering noise behind the cluster it happens around 45+ anyone have any ideas on what that may be?

Anyone know what the noise behind the dash maybe? Its kinda like paper shuffling its pretty annoying. Also met a new Syclone owner today he was hauling a couch pretty nice original looking truck.

went to the junkyard today blazing hot wont be doing that again till cooler weather. But did get some parts off a 94 blazer I got the a-pillar pieces and some misc screws to finish everything up in the front. Also got the rear window out of it to replace the one that's in the Ty now that has that ugly metal frame around it it has no wiper or defrost but idc I think it looks cleaner without the wiper and I never used the wiper. There was also another 94 that had a black leather interior but the inserts were diff :rant: wish they were the same.
