I was wondering on the Blk/Blk Typhoons is the cladding supposed to be gloss semi or flat? Kind of hard to tell in the pics I've seen. It looks more semi than gloss on mine right now.
Syclone's had a matte finish to cladding. Typhoon's had a glossier finish I am not sure if I would call it a gloss finish though, maybe its just quality of the paint.
I just wanted a definate answer so that when I get my Typhoon back I can have verification that it was done correct. Ins adjuster still not playing nice.
I will find it for $175
Hit me up,
dat funny:rotf:
Only because its more than $75-100 would i agree with that . Look at it from the standpoint of it being information unknown by a professional insurance adjuster to help a rare specialty vehicle retain as much of it's prior untarnished value as possible. Five to ten years from now an improper paint repair would hurt said value of this Typhoon by more than $100-200. I realize this specific Typhoon may or may not be in the condition to warrant that calculation , but i can guarantee that Syty's as a whole will come down to these trivial details in the future when considering the low numbers of "Nice" trucks left .
In the end there will be "Collector" trucks , and then what we all have , "Beaters." :rotf: j/k .![]()
That is why I was asking. The paint on mine is original with a clean car fax also. I am trying to get some info put together to give him for diminished value. Can't wait to see what the grille looks like knowing they are getting an aftermarket grille. I did however tell the body shop that any thing that came off to save it for me to pick up when I picked up the Ty.
