I think the linkage it bent too compensate the idle . There is still a metal cap on the idle adjust screw . It appears that the normal wear of the screw too the bracket don't line up either .Would the complete tune up and throttle body cleaning cause the idle to be off

well i just put a new one in when short out on aldl a&b i can here it making noise at the tb .

Hmm. Ok Im guessing its operating then. Double check to make sure you got that vacuum leak repaired and no others exist. If it did not do this before you worked on it, start looking at timing? Possible you moved the distributor when doing the tune up? Dont know if that would cause a code 35.

I reformed the bracket the idle stop screw is back to where it was at factory according too the wear the idle is a tad below 1k .thanks alot guys !!!!!! :cheers::cheers:

Sweet.That bracket was more ****ed up than a soup sandwich.
