92 Ty 2298 was delivered today.

47,000 mile truck originally from Florida, mileage checks with carfax. Zero rust.

Paint is faded, and missing some cladding, but body is clean enough that it doesn't matter to me.

I have nearly all the cladding, so will probably have it painted next year.

Pretty low miles. Please post some more pics. I would like to see more of it.

Here is the only other pic i have since i bought it. It's 15 degrees outside so didn't play outside for long. Previous owner had vette wheels on it.

Should have taken an underhood and interior shot too. May get more pics shortly when I go go my other garage.

Original engine blown around 2000. Sat outside in Florida for several years.

Nope. She's all good. Have info two owners back, from the guy that got it from the original owner. Title clear.

Gary, my garage is full. I drove it 25 miles up towards Cleveland and have it stored at one of my rental property garages. It runs fine, so hopefully the save consists of paint and some nickel and dime things......emphasis on hopefully.

Felt good to drive it, about 5 minutes after I left my house sunday, two kids in a wrx gave a thumbs up and said "nice typhoon".

Re: 92 Ty 2298 has a new home

So, I have not done a ton to this truck this year. Between the rental property shenanigans, busy work schedule and my Camaro getting hit in the parking lot at my office, was pretty busy.

It had some minor driveability issues that I wasn't able to solve on my own (knock retard while cruising, hesitation, stall and minimal boost).

Had a Buick friend of mine play with it and found bad knock sensor, tps and map sensors. Changed them out and she runs pretty good actually!
While on his lift, said it brought back flashbacks to the mid 90's working on syty's with no rust.

I'll get some miles on it tomorrow (probably last day before the roads get salty) and start thinking about paint.
