'92 ty #0057 Black/Black found at dealer

Got a call from my mom in WA state. She was getting oil changed at dealer, and spotted the mentioned typhoon. Here are details

85,500 miles
good condition (1 dent on 1 rim, minor things, but overall good)

Asking price of 14,900 sounded like a bone stock truck...

Truck is at Sunset Chevrolet in Tacoma Washington. I didn't see truck, just got details from my brother. Salesmen admitted my brother knew more about ty's than he did.

It sounds like the one I bought. Except mines a 93 with 70,000 miles and I paid $15,900 with a good trade in on my car.I think I paid about 2-$3000 to much.Dont get me wrong I love the truck,but its frustrating when dump another $1000 into all new ball joints,pitman arm,idler arm, and tortion bar mounts.Not to mention front brakes.Just get that checked first or get a good price on the truck.It sounds like you can if the dealer doesnt know shit.

hey man i looked at that ty....it has some major problems. Not to mention in my opinion it looks like it has been wrecked. I thought i was getting a good deal. the truck has been repainted the right side cladding is black but the front bumper rear and dirvers side is grey. It does not have a turbo timer but the engine sometimes stays runing from 5 seconds to 1 hour!!!!! the drivers side door has a gap you can put your finger in the passenger side you cant even get your pinky in. oh yeah it is tempermental on starting hot ot cold it doesnt like to start. the front end is worn out and needs a rebuild you are all over the road trying to steer. and the drivers side rear tire stick out about an inch outside the cladding and the passenger doesnt stick out at all. oh and at WOT the engine sometimes stalls and cuts out. the gauges go crazy too check engine light flashes. It barely made it back up there.
