I power brake to a point just before the tires break lose, which is about 2200 rmp, or so. I launched right as it went green, some how i take him off the line. I glance back, & see his front tires spinning. As soon as he hit 2nd, he had recoupled his losses, meeting my passenger door, but then i hit 2nd, which i opened a tiny gap between us agin, when he hit 3rd, he slowly walked passed me, by this piont neither of as were gaining much ground.He the shut down at 70 as did I.

That has to be the funniest shit I have EVER read!! I had to read it again to actually get the full effect of what he was trying to say. You took a AWD TURBO car off the line? That's crazy. We raced a WRX in my buddy's TT Stealth (Before he was modded) and the WRX was door to door with us. I would love to own one of them but I guess I should be shooting for a SGT! !! :roll:

Also, I race quite a bit, & I have been beat off the line 1 time, by an old Chevy Pick-up with a 454. I have some decent sized tires, that makes it easy for me to launch hard. The tires, & posi, & lim-slip rear end, & traction bars.
