80e trans cooler Q

Beavis

Still plays with trucks
When doing the 80e conversion, is it necessary to go overkill on trans coolers or is one big one (and not using the stock radiator one) enough? I'm have a hard time deciding what i want to do about that and where to put it on a ty (not as much room under the truck). And not sure if I want to put it up front (don't want the restriction in front of the radiator) but if I have to I will. Any pics of what people have done would be great cause I searched and came up empty (most where old and had been removed due to age). Also on a side note, my plan is to do it very simple as to not complicate things. I believe there
is something to be said for simplicity.

1 big aftermarket should be fine. 80e's have temp sensors built into trans so you can always check the temp that way also to confirm.

Combating adversyty.

For what it's worth, I asked George Blake before I installed mine and he said that the stock radiator was ample for an 80E as there is so much more fluid than the 700R4.
