I didn't mount mine at all. It's already wedged between a few other things.

Mounted mine on the heater/ac box. 2 holes, took out the resistor to access the backside to add the nuts/tighten. Exercise in patience but it worked.

Pretty Much same place mine is.

Are there different casings for the 4L80E? My trans lines seem to be both located together at the forward part of the trans on the RHS.

The trans dipstick is under them and the LOKAR dipstick doesn't seem to want to fit. Pic to follow but mine looks a bit different from some of the others I have seen on here.

On the plus side, the TCU spoke to it and the base tune is all set up for it.

EDIT: OK, so it was tight. I pressed down with a 16mm wrench while twisting it with a big adjustable. Better to install this in the trans when it isn't under the truck I think...
