Well...the little 4.3L V6 has given up the ghost. The MAHLE pistons (4032 alloy) were never designed to handle this much abuse (I have been using them since 2005) and have finally let go in a spectacular fashion. I will be fully inspecting everything before it goes out. Here is what I have:
1996+ VORTEC heads with FERREA 6000-series 2.02/1.60 valves, ARP rocker studs, ISKY guide plates, 140# PAC springs, retainers, shims, 7* locks, 7.200 hardened pushrods, aluminum 1.5 ratio roller rockers, ARP poly locks. Custom grind BULLET cam (street-friendly and makes great power)CAM IS SOLD PENDING PAYMENT. Will include SCE Titan ICS full copper head gaskets (used but still absolutely fine). Heads have o-ring wire without receiver in the block. Will hold excellent amounts of boost (double o-ringed - call if you done understand). There is over $1600 invested in these heads. Edelbrock #2114 VORTEC intake manifold prepped for injectors plus fuel rail. RPM sells this intake for $495 plus the fuel rails at $149. Save a bunch! Just add injectors, elbow, and throttle body. $425 SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
