700r4 w/forced 4-3 shift, I want WOT 4th, HOW?

Can you help a cousin? I've got a '91 S-10 Blazer with a 4L60 from JET. Like my original it has a forced downshift at 75% of WOT. SY/TYs, and also a '91 B4C code (Police specific) Z28 I had will upshift into 4th at WOT (via the govenor I think). My TV is adjusted as per specs. Is there a special TV valve that allows this function? I rev through 3rd until the computer on the converted '96 mas engine shuts it down (@ 121mph GPS confirmed) and I want to take advantage of the .62 4th at WOT! My trans shifts back into OD (4th) only after I return considerable throttle travel (appx. 25%) where I just maintain high 90s-low100s. Can anyone shine the light? And, yes, I want a Typhoon. I got this Blazer in '99 when my kids were smaller. It's a 4dr, but I like it. In a few more years when the kids are gone I'm hoping to get into a Typhoon. Unless I can find some Sy/Ty manifolds to make mine the first 4dr Typhoon. Thanks for any help.

Sonnax WOT upshift valve, sleeve and spring assembly. Allows WOT upshift from 3rd to 4th without lifting. I have them in stock if you need one.

Kit has .500" boost valve and the sonnax 3-4 WOT shift valve. $55 + shipping. I think you'll find in most cases that the vendor's on this forum are substantially cheaper than the other places.

i believe the valve body needs to be removed to install valve

Yes it can. The roll pin that you have to remove can be accessed just by dropping the pan and taking out two 10mm bolts that hold the TV linkage in place. Slide the old spring, valve, and sleeve out and put the new one in. The .500" boost valve goes in the pump. You'll need a pair of snap ring pliers (small tip) to get that out.

yes it can. very easily.

if you want to RR the TV valve then you must drop the VB.
