700 r4 2wd

Ok I am broke.. No cash LOL... so I have a working 700r4 from a 89 GTA. I went to a junk yard and got a cross member from a 2wd s-10 and NOPE didnt work. So I need to know if anyone else has run into this problem. I need t get this tranny to hook up to this cross member. TIA

might be good to know exactly what you are trying to do. are you attempting to put a 2wd trans into a syty?

If so you are going to have to make your own driveshaft and crossmember.

GM never made a 4wd frame s-10 truck with a 2wd crossmember.

Get the output shaft out of your broken one and put it into the 89 model. It only takes 4 gaskets to do that.

Well I also got the drive shaft from a 92' 2wd Blazer and I have been driving it but I "NEVER" really bolted it down. Lets just say It was unsafe. lol . I am going to make that plate It sounds like the only solution. Thanks guys
