4l80e wont shift

Hi, guy. i have a 4l80e transmissión built and stand alone big stuff3 to be exact install. but I can't get it to shift, can anybody tell me the wiring diagram or what I have to do to get to shift is stuck in 1 gear. I have the bigstuff3 with the transmission option .

Visit the 4l80e section. Google for wiring diagrams. Do you have the TPS going thru your aftermarket ECU? Is there there a VSS? Those are two of the main sensors the ECU needs to determine shift points. You may need an RPM signal in the mix. Aside from that, proper voltage and grounds are mandatory. I'd imagine you'd be stuck in 2nd gear-limp mode- and not 1st.

Pondering if your VSS signal matches with what your aftermarket stuff needs to see. Here is a crude but cheap way to shift your transmission while you troubleshoot. Dont know if I'm the "guy" to help you out. I'm trying. I'm no mechanic but I can read. You are welcome.
