4l80e to stock transfer case output shaft and adapter

Rebuild your 4l80e w this outputshaft and adapter and the stock t-case will bolt up. We will still have to change drive shafts and add the computer and stuff but its a cheaper way to get them together and in the truck. The only negative I see is the output shaft goes down from the 32 spline to the 27 spline of the T-case. I'm sure they can handle what most power we can throw at it .

The adapter is for a 4wd and is not clocked correctly for our Syclones and Typhoons, it even says it does not fit 5 bolt transfer cases. People here have twisted the the weaker 27 spline output shafts.

Yep. Quickstop (Mark) did

I did have to laugh at this on PATC's website.
The second test was with a 460 horse power all-wheel-drive Chevy Cyclone. The best time with the factory planet gear was 13.10 and the time with the new 2.84 six pinion planet gear was 12.90. This is a whopping 2/10 of a second faster in the quarter mile. There was 300 to 400 less RPM drop on the 1-2 shift with the new gear ratio. This truck didn't have a problem with tire spin on take off because it has all-wheel-drive. The 2/10 of a second was picked up on gear ratio change only, not on take off.

Though, this was a "modified" 32 spline turned down and re-splined. Doing this you machine the case hardening away and the spline is now soft. Still not the way I would go, the 32 spline shafts have been tried and tested.

So the adapter for the syty is different then a 4wd of the same years? I'm just trying to figure out my swap. I have the transfer case shaft for the 4l80e and an extra t-case. I'm staying mostly stock but will do the 80 upgrade. Been through to many 60's.

Yes they are different, 4WD vs AWD, also I believe they are specific to our trucks. I know this for a fact because the first prototype adapter I made was measured from a 4WD adapter I borrowed from my transmission friend (had to scrap it), it is clocked totally different.
