4l80e + Syty Transfer case possible?

I am not sure.

I will see if any of my local buddies have or know of a th400 laying around, and we can throw the adaptor on and see if things line up.

I suspect not, as th400 adaptors are available, and the 80e wasn't.

While I havent had the parts in my hands research says the 400 and 80e bolt patterns on the rear of the cases isnt the same.

from memory, i believe the adaptor looks identical to the th400 one.. As for the output shaft who's making them out of 300M? The one Blake is selling is taken from a stock output shaft, turned down, and resplined. Not that this is a bad thing, as they are already quiet beefy. I believe he offers cryo for ~$50

Its actually a pretty simple conversion minus the electonics side.

I have confirmed the th400 isn't same pattern as 80e.

Sizes are different also, in terms of alignement locations, etc.

good info.. looked the same or close enough, but as we all know close enough only works for horseshoes and handgrenades.

My TH400 has a tuned down stock out put shaft. Low 1.40’s 60 foot 2 years and counting!! :rock:
