It's weird to think about it. I know I didn't know him or his wife in the same manner that you guys did.
I met him over on pro-touring.com before I even knew about this place. It was under Dave's advice to come over here to look around and introduce myself. Granted I lurked long before ever coming out from under my rock, but yeah...I really owe him for leading me here.
I remember it because he joined over there at the same time as a guy named Ty O'Neal, and another guy with a maroon GN. I would always get them mixed up when talking to them. It's odd how you remember certain things.
In anycase, sorry for the thread jack...and Godspeed.

i read the story several times, and i dont get under the truck without thinking of him, i always mention it to my wife, heck i tell my wife to come in the garage whenever possible, specially last week when i did the starter.
from the things i read he had a huge sense of humor. this was possibly his last post?

Godspeed Myclone!!!!!!!!!! you have been missed for the last 4 years and will be for a long time to come. I remember when i first came on the site reading his post/novels that he would write but i still find myself now going back to them for great references and the information is priceless.

I still have a letter he mailed me with 20.00 inside because I sent him some stuff and told him not to worry about payment got the letter 3 days before he died

I still remember the story about something catching on fire and him running full speed ahead with the hose, or the naked lawn mowing jokes the list goes on and on. He also was always ready to help someone out. He once built me a timer box for a fireplace and refused to take money. I sent him cash in an envelope with no return address. I also had one of those light things for staging he build that would turn on LED's based on boost so you could be in the left lane and see the boost with out having to look at your boost gauge on the pillar.
