Not much is different really. ~2" lower for the Ty.
Gas tank and shocks and everything mounts in the same position on the Ty as a 2wd Jimmy...

I honestly wouldn't go with a bolt on 4 link on our trucks.
Too much torque and twisting that 2wd S-series probably don't see all that often.

I can't imagine the rear frame being any different. A AWD 4 link will be setup different than a 2WD 4 link. AWD you want to keep the front tires planted, while with 2wd you would want the weight transfer to lift the front the vehicle to plant the rear tire as much as possible.

Check suicidedoors.com. They have alot of rear parts for doing 4 links. I am doing a 3 link ladder bar from a gnx and will order my lower arms and mounts from them.

This is the old Al Dustan Set up. Not being made any more.

Although Renz has remade the axle brackets

I would go for a weld in and at this point its pretty much going to have to be custom fit to each truck.
Start with an S-series kit and mod it as needed.

Competition Engineering comes to mind.

I'd still like to see someone do an IRS.
