4.3 Vortec Performance

Anybody want to help me get a list of stuff bolt on wise that might perk up a stock SGT 4.3 Vortec? I know some typical stuff like headers, high flow cat back system with high flow muffler, & cold air intakes. Any other main things I can do that's not TOO expensive for this :roll: lesser non :turbo: brother of Sy/Ty?

Visit the S-10 sites.

I had a Sonoma a while back, and there was alot of info on mods that could be done.

My 1997 SS runs 12.9s on a 90hit.

Best bolt on was headers for me. CAI makes a nice intake howl that sounds cool. Cam and heads helped quite a bit.

I have a 4000rpm yank converter in mine that makes all the difference.
