4.3 engine question

This is about a regular NA 4.3. I used search but cant find anything on it, point me in the right direction if I missed it.

Anyway, have a 4.3 blazer having a hard time when its cold. It wants to die. It starts fine, and then bogs, and REALLY bogs when you put it in gear and just tries to die or dies if you dont give it enough gas. Once its warms up, its considerably better.

Ideas of places to start?

Perhaps consider an S-10 board. The induction systems and engine management systems on these trucks are no where near what you have on your blazer. Finding an answer here maybe like finding a needle in a haystack since everything is different on our trucks.

coolant temp sensor might be throwing the ecm for a ride. making it think that the motor is hot,but it really cold. i seen this happen a few times
