If you buy the chip, you will also need a three bar map sensor. GM part #16040749. Probably runs about 100.00 or less.
Here's a very handy site to look up GM parts for prices. Just enter the part number and select Chev or Pontiac.

I have a brand new Ultimate chip that I might be selling. Any interest? I bought my 3 bar MAP sensor from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com and I think that it costs something like $52.00.

Bob, how much do you want fot the Ultimate? Is it the on ewith the LED readout, the full works?

I bought it around this time last year. I was having problems with it so I sent it back to Todd Austinson. He is the one that actually makes them. He said that there was nothing wrong with it but replaced it for free. It is indeed the one with the LED readout. I am going to see if I can still try something else with it before I sell it. I hope you don't need it now. I will let you know when I am parting with it. Talk to you later.
