Well I'll take a little more pleasure writing this story out than most of the others. See last year when I got my Sy back for the first time there was a small ignition issues that was really killing it's performance. We found that the BS3 ecu really didn't like HEI from a V6 so after it went back to RPM Mike found the problem and corrected it, and finnaly the truck ran like a raped ape all the time.... Sooo last year at the street races when the truck was running up and down I got aproached by a guy in a 350z with some drag radials on the back. He wants to run for a 100 bucks and I'm thinking even with my running issues I should get him.
So he wants 3 cars at the starting line, and I'm more giving than I should be and I let him have it. Well then I find out he's spraying ALOT of NOS. Hmm ok Long story short he steals the move, and hooks like I've never seen a Z on the street hook, and I lose by 2 cars. :roll:
Now the truck is back and ignition is perfect and power is...... Well you guys know. So this guy in the z keeps hitting me up the last couple months but now he wants 6 cars!!! uhhhh no. I'll give you the same thing I gave you last year, three cars. He counters with two cars and the go! Nice, I'll take it. We agree on 150 bucks.
We line up with about 30 spectators, as usual, and I spool up and hit my headlights letting him know I'm ready. About 10 seconds later he launches the z, and I then follow imediately afterwords. Sorry to say I spun all four pretty bad (need to get that 2step working) I then hook and catch him about halfway down and come blazing past him like he had no NOS at all. :rotf:
At the end he pulls over and gets out of the z, walks over pays me my money and I tell him "thanks, it's about time you paid me back" :rotf:
