Going to make this a simple question. Going to do my own 3 inch turbo back set up. Doing the 3 inch downpipe/not cat/then 3 inch back with straight thru magnaflow muffler and dumped after axle will the truck need to get tuned for that? Sorry i come from ls stuff when you do headers/no cats and full exhaust tune is needed.

Nope. You'll probably be fighting overboost issues unless you run an external wastegate.

ok just seeing if its worth doing a 3 inch cat back set up? Shouldnt have overboost issues?

If it is a high flow cat & 3" cat back, most likely it will have over boost problems.

If you port the wastegate hole & or install a larger wastegate flapper valve w/porting, should not have a problem w/over boosting.

ok ill start with a 3 inch cat back and stick to that.... now onto looking for a intake set up for this truck. Trying to find something that goes in the front of the truck more like the cold air one that I had on my wifes tbss by the front ducts but cant find anything.

man i better stop posting questions here but last question.

With the intake/cat back from race proven motorsports will truck need to be tuned?

To get the most out of it, yes. But the SyTy is much different than the LS stuff. MAP vs MAF so it isn't needed.

cool if im able to work out a deal on this ty im looking at ill just get the cat back/intake and suspension and call it good.
