I know i hear ya. I have kept the 140 price shipped for years even though ups costs have risen over the years to and from me. I never get shipments so large but this time i was able to secure a bunch wich is how i got the lower pricing. Shipping these boxes isnt cheap. They have some weight to them.

No 60 day price promise If you find a lower price within 60 days of purchase you'll refund the difference? Haha c'mon all the stores are doing it! Now I wish I waited bc I didn't need one ASAP just figured I would get it even though I didn't want to spend the $.

Anyways, free bump for a good steering box and good guy...

I finaly installed my zq8 box and steering shaft tonight and it turns so much smoother. About 2.5 turns lock to lock. I just had my alignment done prior to installing the box and now that I have it in I noticed the toe is off on the right wheel. With the steering wheel straight the left wheel appears to be straight but the right wheel is turned to the right. Is this normal? Do I need to realign the truck? Where did go I go wrong? Thanks

sounds like you need an alignment. Glad you like the steering box!

Is the steering the same size as the stock parts. Reason I ask is because some of my Sy parts are god awfully close to the steering shaft.

yes its the same size box but with a different internal ratio.

I'd like to get one for my 2003 s10, I have all the other zq8 equipment (ready to install) and need this last piece of the puzzle.
My truck only has 18,000 miles on it so I really would want one with low mileage,
I'm assuming this will work on my truck?

So this is just the box correct? What is a good steering shaft to use with the box? My stock SyTy steering has some slop to it and I will not drive the Syclone hard until the steering is safe and firm.

To answer both the boxes i get have under 35k on them wich i why usually secure only a few at a time. The upgraded shafts are available from waller and renz i believe.

I just got a box from spooldup, installed it on my 98 2wd s10, man, what a difference. I cannot keep from going to the insides of the curves and about knocking signs out on corners!

*EDIT* Not sure if this is true w/ all the boxes, but mine still had the pitman arm on it, part number matched my stock box, so it was one less thing I had to do to get the box on there. (this applies to 2wd trucks only, I'm sure)

glad you like it jeff! They should have come stock on all trucks. The boxes we have from the factory are horrible!
