2" AND 4" alum cowl hoods

so here's the deal. after many months of negotating and walking up the ladder with a aftermarket hood manufacturer. i have negotaited a semi-limited supply of aluminum 2" and 4" cowl hoods. same exact style as the goodmarks. only avail in 2" and 4" and only that style hood.

pricing will be about what the goodmark sells for...mid 300.00 range....definatley less than 400 bucks. weighs in at only 19 lbs for the 4" and 16 lbs for the 2". estimated ship dates are gonna be mid summer ie( late july early august)

i need to know who has interest in one of these hoods and what size...2" of 4"

i'll start taking deposits once i have exact pricing around june 1.


i have pic's of my prototype if someone wants to host them for us.

anyway i hope this brightens someones day.

Weighed my 2 hoods.
Stock= 38lbs still have the heat shield and is factory painted
Goodmark 2"= 43lbs with paint.

What gauge aluminum is it . I havent had the time to finish my hood lately and I need something in the meanwhile (more like a year or two).

(+1) 2"cowl for me and possibly one more for another local sy .

Too bad I already have a fiberglass hood.....those look excellent. Lemme think a lil'.

I wonder how it would stand up to hail though?! Thats my fav. thing about fiberglass :) ---
