So we head down to cecil. wait a few hours for the jr dragsters to finish. once they are they announce the shutdown area is to wet and they can get it dry so they are going to run 1/8 mile all day. we head out fast as we could to atco.

1st run is

1.52 60ft
10.15 @133.54

change a couple settings and:

60ft 1.484
330ft 4.095
1/8mi et 6.312
1/8mph 109.88
990ft 8.206

1/4 mi et 9.930
mph 134.83

funny thing was the tires still spun at the far end of the 60ft

truck didnt go left as i made a small adjustment on the drivers side caltrac.

so we make a couple more settting changes. some good some not so good.

3rd run

60ft drops to an unbeleivable 1.42

somehow we turned on timer mode or something in the boost controller by mistake so once it hit 2nd gear it only made 14psi. the rest of the wway down the track. fwiw that was a 10.9 run.

Imagine whats gonna happen when we get good conditions, a prepped track and a run with that kind of 60ft.

oh and on the 1.42 it still spun just a little bit at the end of 1st gear.

So after the 9 sec run i come back down the return road with a stoggie in my mouth. nobody said nothing at the tower. I had an extra cigar just in case they did. Passed out the cigars....

anyway we still think there is more in it.

standing 5 ft away and witnessing a 1.42 leave, Yes it is going to happen REAL SOON, the last time we dropped from 1.52 to 1.46 60 foot, we lost 4 tenths.....and BTW there is still a LOT MORE LEFT in it, but ya didnt hear dat from me :D :wink: :tup:

CONGRATS ED!!!!!!!......your best run of the day was the one out of Cecil County Dragway's gate. They ran 1/8th mile all day my traction was crappy. You made the right decision to leave when you did. What now 8 sec? LOL!

Good thing we left :eek: I HATE 1/8th mile tracks.....reminds me of racing in someones back yard :tup: :rock:

mt et dr and 10 lb weld alumastar 15 inch rims. 8 1/4 ft 5 bs and 10 inch w/ 6 bs on rear. I dont recommend them to anyone as they look like shit . :D
15 inch give ya more sidewall. Keith can tell ya for sure but i think they wrinkle when it launches. Then again he saw the green dots wrinkle before also. then again if its tuesday dont ask keith what he saw. lol :D

Wow :eek: , congrats, that is an incredible 60ft. You guys obviously have stuff figured out. If you guys get into the 1.30's 60ft. I am going to start thinking that truck is rear wheel drive :D

Thanks for the compliment mike, we all work as a teem, 90 million phone calls from ed later....we get it figured out.....Every time it rings, its like a smack in da a$$ to get back to workin on his stuff (LOL) Only ones I cant figure out are the ones from his wife wondering how much money it cost :eek: :tup: :lol: I start getting nervous then :eek:

I'm not one to predict things....but we havent really worked on the launch as much as we did with the radials (green dots) if we work on it as much as we did with them, its there dewd!

Ed, please buy da cubans next time.....

we are definitely eating Filet next time out as long as conditions are good and she stays together!

Ed, where'd ya get those headers, those are some bad sums a biotches! :wink:
