1/8th mile against an Mitsu Eclipse...

I ran a turbo Eclipse last Sat. Was told that the car ran 12.60s in the 1/4. I said I'll take some of that, knowing that the place we were running was going to be only about 1/8th mile. The Sy ate her up out of the hole, but the Eclipse came hard, but fell off when shifted to 2nd. Tried to make another to make run at me in second but the finish was coming up too quick. We ran twice and same result. Sy - 2 Mitsu - 0!

A couple rich-kid-ricers were sporting the new Evo's at a local 1/8th mile track a few weeks ago. Best they could muster was mid 9's.

I drove a new Evo a few months ago. They're definately faster than that. The kids probably just couldn't drive 'em.

Thats genuwine mitsubishi quality right there. now you see why I drive an a/t- beacuse the m/t they put in dsm's could easly qualify as one of the 10 worst ever. Was it awd(GSX) or fwd(GST)?
