Alright guys,

Im starting my gathering of parts to turn my 02 silverado into a sy/ty swapped turbo V6.

Just ordered my AEM UEGO wideband for tuning purposes today,

also going to pick up a garret T3 60trim from a buddy today,

looking at going with the AEM TRU BOOST gauge/ controller (anyone use this?),

sy/ty manifolds... working on getting a pair,

still need to order my marine intake manifold and injectors,

FMIC just an ebay one...
still gotta get tubing and oil return lines and what not and BOV.

Derale oil pan, and trans cooler,

Its a start for now!!

heres what im working with... 2002 Chevy Silverado 4.3L vortec with 60,900

and its my daily driver!!

Maby I should start my own Cult...Lol...

I love helping guys.. it's fun for me and I really enjoy it.

I've been bitten by the boost bug and never recovered from it. There is nothing but turbo cars

here at my shop... WRX's Evo's GNs and Ty's... And The F-body's I'm converting.

It's really fun... Hard work but it really pays off.

Let me know how it's going and put some pic's up here! :)

On the marine intake you might want to pm blk00z28 becasue i think he bought one a while back for a project he is doing.

that turbo is pretty smallish, i run a T3/T4 hybrid 54 trim .63 a/r on my 2.2L 4cyl that made 408whp/442ftlbs trq

I guess thats a good deal. Seeing I just sold mine about 3 months ago for $185 shipped :roll:

Only problem with the Holley marine intake was (aside that it wont fit your Vortec heads. And will require you to have it modified to fir costing you even more..) that if you want to run a sideways facing plenum you are pretty much at the mercy of the fuel rails, and fuel rail mounts. They stick up to high and will hit the tb, or plenum unless you found a complete intake, rail, plenum kit that was made for it. Which I doubt you'd ever find. You can do a forward facing plenum but then have to worry about how your going to run the IC, if you have enough room to run it with the radiator.. .. .

Its not hard to match injector spacing but at least if you weld in your own bungs into a intake you can control the depth into the runner and the height of the injector/rail.

You can convert a carb intake into a EFI intake for less then you think. I paid $210 for my edelbrock intake shipped off ebay. You can buy bungs from a vendor on here for about $45-60 shipped. Rails anywhere from $2-15 a foot. And if you know someone who can weld alum, has a large enough drill press that can hold the intake straight while you drill the bung holes and can measure good, build it yourself. Or can just buy one already done from a vendor on here for around $6-800 and by done with it.

Could always go 406 stroker with a P1SC. This is my buddies, put down just under 600rwhp with small injectors at 12psi I think. He'd like to go turbo if someone would buy his supercharge kit. pic; http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y178/Billybo455/daves truck/DSC02140.jpg He has 3rd gear slipping problems at the track with to much traction with sticky tires, but the 20's that are on it have no problem spinning at will..

Eh... its just for now. I still daily drive this truck and will for at least another 2-3 years. I just want something that will be a bit funner and something very few people have.

I will be running 10-12 psi on it. Should be fun, worried about the 4L60e though.

Once i get another set of transportation, then i will upgrade turbo, pistons, and what not.

Either one of the injectors you listed there are good for the power you'll be making.

Turbo Buick has alot for sale in the classified section.
