What year engine block can I use to swap my crank and pistons into. I've heard any 1986-1992 4.3 liter will work. I found a 1993 block at a local salvage yard, will that work???

The previous owner said that he had a chip put in the truck. He doesn't remember the name of the chip tuner. An old stock chip was in the console. I took a picture of the chip thats in the ecm now. Any idea's what I need to look for to determine whether its a high octane race chip or a 93...

Just picked up the Sy yesterday. It has a few issued that must be sorted out. It has blowby from two cylinder, so the motors coming out today. The truck has 102K on it repainted 2 years ago, 4 mixed matched tires and the headliner needs to be replaced. The interior is very clean. No tonneau...
