Re: Sy 1042 Cladding does need some love....truck has sat a little while. Still runs fantastic...other than a good detailing, pinion seal is leaking a little, a/c needs a vacuum pulled and charged, window motor needs replacing.

Just got 1042 home...even though it only has 7600 on the odometer, going over everything to see what it's gonna need.

Re: Ty# 0371 Rebuild I never really had an easy feeling when I talked to the previous owner and he stressed that it "needs rings". That's what led me to going ahead and pulling the heads. NEVER have I seen anything ONLY need rings...Although, I never expected to see a chunk missing out of one...

Re: Ty# 0371 Rebuild Thanks guys. Nick, I don't have a real date set, especially now that im at the hospital because a transmission fell off of the jack onto my dads arm and cut him pretty bad...he is going into surgery in a few. So, I gotta work through this now.
