Re: what build do you want to see?

We'll see how that goes...
There's a lot of hybriding you could do to a 20g and really make a screamer-that-didn't-look-like-one.
Considering we had Heavy Tys running 11.80s on unleaded gas, I don't think low 11s in a Sy is too far out of line.
Getting the drivetrain to take it, is another thing....
I guess the question becomes, what interests most members (and will provide the most knowledge). Say...
-a very stealthy stock vehicle running mid-11s (using new ideas with 20g, but with stock engine/drivetrain components)
-an inexpensive alternative recipe for aging high mileage V6s (knowing that such items as forged
cranks, bowtie blocks, ATR headers and such are hard to get/discontinued)
with possibilities like extrude-honed exhaust, vortecs/intake, accessory deletes, and nitrous
-or a completely different engine adder (such procharger, supercharger, etc) to compete
with the new mustang gt500/new Z06 vettes/new vipers.
It would seem that for street purposes, an 11 sec AWD should beat new unmodified Mustang/Vette/Vipers due to being RWD.
But it also seems that at the strip, the newer Mustang/Vettes/Vipers with slicks can turn 10s and beat modified SyTys.
To beat up on them requires a bit more thinking (previously requiring $$$$/lots of mods). Dunno if a cheaper 10 sec SyTy
recipe is available (and thats why I mentioned the possibility of a procharge, seeing
a recent hotrod article about 600-1,000 hp engines with such).
Im amazed at the mustang/cobra supercharged vehicles now running around -
(cheaply done with 600+hp), or the rear-twinturbo`d vettes. Course their not AWD
but some do hook at the strip. And thus the question becomes, is 11 seconds
sufficient (probably yes for street, and no for strip).
...but I'm just thinking outloud, (heck I was hoping Marty was going to built his TT-alum engine/Syborg
concept, but what the hey...)
