Fuel Injector question

I was told I have 50# injectors. Is there a way of knowing if the injectors are 50#ers? They are a pea green color and I will check in the morning for any numbers stamped on them. Can you tell if they are High or Low impedence by a mark or anything? Thanks. I am trying to figure out why the truck is running bad. I had the injectors sent out and sonic cleaned. I just want to make sure I have the correct ones and they are 50#ers and High impedence.

Thank You

Re: Fuel Injector question

You can use a multimeter on the injector after you unplug a connector.
High impedence will be in the 12-18 ohm range I believe?

Re: Fuel Injector question

OK, I ohmed them and they are right at 12.6-12.7 ohms. So I guess that indicates they are High Imp. Injectors correct?

Thanks for your help with this.

Re: Fuel Injector question

they are probably 42# injectors it's a ford motorsports injector and they work fine on our trucks. I have them in my truck and I'm running a 50# chip with no problems at all. If your still curious and want to be 100% sure just get the part # off of them and punch it into any search engine. What kind of problem are you having with your truck? Give us a little more info and maybe we can help you out.
