Re: Syclone project restarted today with pics

after a hard day of work it looks like a complete truck again. only need to install the propshaft and ziptie some lines and wires underneath and have the last piece of the exhaust welded on.
i need to get onto the lift to check the fronts and lower the back about 2" but some agriculture machines are infront of my lift :(.
well here are some pics

í would say yes, you know i didn't use the bulky thing. i just used the thin plate and used washers to fill up the space. the edelbrock waterpumps are different, they have different angles than the stockers. but it work for me pretty well.
thanks again mike !

What lower IC set up do you have? I was thinking about going with a big fmic, yours looks real clean with a lower IC setup.

Re: Syclone project restarted today with pics

small update lowered the rear about 2" and installed new stops for the front suspension to give it a bit more travel.
also had a problem with blue smoke on idle. burning oil. PTE told me i didn't have to use a restrictor. compression check the engine and everythig to see it could be anything else.
my last thing to do was the turbo so i was like **** it.
so made a restrictor of 1MM and now everything is ok
drove to inspection today as well. but it was smoking like a mofo and also mt alternator acted up. charging no charging. gauge to 0. so i quickly turned around before i had it done. so now i'll try to go there again prolly tomorrow with a none smoking truck. hope the alternator issue is fixed now.

Looks good. You see how your harness that runs across the firewall behind the motor? Is that the height it is supposed to be? For some reason I remember it being a little lower.

it's lower now, normally they are attached to the back of the heads. with clamps. i had them up higher at first becausei needed to run some new wires to the alternator. so i had a bit more room sorting things out.

went to inspections today. everything seemed good. had a code 43 a few times. prollly because of system voltage overload.
