Who won stock turbo class at Nats? What was et? Sy or Ty?
woo hoo, after the 4th try, i finally won :D
time wasn't all that great, but a 13.548 beat a 13.408.

I got 2nd. Not because of truck though, I just suck.

Truck I ran had a best that day of 12.8, and 12.5's local before leaving for nats.

Gabe was a better driver and got me. Congrats.

That was crazy, I was up in the tower and we all just looked up and were like

Gabe wernt you and Ted right next to him, like less than 10ft away.

Ted was at the finish line and I was in the grass right where they were stopping....All I remember was saying oh s**t and moving quick....yeah, i was within 10 feet of them. But all in all I wouldn't change that event at all...it was a blast. I'm just going to have a camcorder to record the locking up of tires next year :D

Although there was a wall between you and the trucks.  He did ok though not a scratch in the paint, his tires however.....

I had a great time although in the second round I braked early. If any of you ever say this was not a challenging event I DARE you to come compete next year. It was designed to be a challenge although I could have never known how much fun it would be until I participated in it. My ABS worked great Joe Keller barely outstopped me although I was traveling faster. Put the pedal to the floor at 100-105 MPH and it stopped hard straight ahead.

Also a thanks goes out to Don Lepard, Kurt Russell, and Rudy Valdez and others who read early versions and helped make it what it was. And you guys suck for not showing up to compete in it. :D

I had already made up my mind that i wasnt going to win the last part of the contest....i just couldnt make myself totally slam on brakes like you guys did. The part that surprised me was how fast Patrick can run. He caught me sleeping at the start. I ran track in high school and was pretty good ( it was 10 years ago  ) and he beat me to the truck.  This year was a blast!!!!! I cant wait for next year!

My run in the finals the timers didn't work (which was probably my best pass of the day) the best slip I got was 12.66@109.

that wasnt the only time the timers didnt work. me and tooky sat there for 20 to 30 seconds burning up our transmissions waiting for the tree to start. then the guy tells us to backup and reset, and after we got to go we didnt get our times.
i guess there was too much :drinking: in the booth.

I can verify, no alcohol in the booth. :-?

Probably had something to do with being a Windows-based program. :robot: Hoover's 60' time on his 10.05 read as a 8.4... yes, I know he had problems in 1st gear, but...

I got all of the races on video..Since the Bug was gone most of the day and my Sy was 1300 miles away  I have to get it transferred over to dvd..(not a digital recorder) and then if anyone wants it they are welcome to it..just remember..I'm a amateur...so you might get dizzy..
