Yea, that Syclone was quick. Looks like some people aren't great autocrossers...especially the Camaro! I definitely need a blow-off valve on my Ty too. Thanks for the vids!

The money to NOT compete was greater than the trophy if I did compete so I opted for the buy-out :haha:
Seriously, I noticed when giving a coupe people a ride that there was some slight break-up at 4500 and beyond. Suspect I have some 12 y.o. fuel in the tank (though I thought I got it all) so I didn't want to run it more than necessary until it is purged and refilled.

I just remember someone talking a lot before the event, then I saw very little racing by anyone.
We didn't race the autocross, but the JSM crew did work on tearing up the drag strip instead.
Let us know when you get some new fuel as we have a silver truck we would like to line up along side that bowtie aspen of yours.

Yeah, Adam should try and talk less (like me) :dizzy:
Looking like early Oct will work best in my schedule. If that works out, let's do it. A BG at BG would be awesome (referring to my Ty, of course).

Actually.... after we set up the course while everyone was still at the bowling alley, the few of us who stayed behind went nuts on the course with everyone elses vehicles. I did a few runs with my truck and then parked it so I could change the tire psi and get ready for the real timed stuff.
By the time I got everything set, I did one run, didnt like the tire psi, changed it, did another run and got it better dialed. Went up to unload the fastest time of the day when Hood walked over and said we are done. I would have still went but due to a jerk camaro owner who knocked down all the cones.
Pretty bummed I didnt run more on the official clock, but between the pre-runs and beating on that Dodge and Pete's TBSS, we must have done 30 passes before everyone got there, so that made it worthwhile.
At least I raced and posted some times. :tup:

Yes, you did. I noticed an improvement on your lethality since Savannah, too. Little adjustments make a huge difference and though I came fully intending to own the event, I ran into a small issue on site. We will tangle again, I promise :tup:.
BigSmoosh impressed me with his on-course agility. Great guy as well and the profile I developed of him over the internet couldn't have been further from what he was in person. I did get tickled that he approached me on Friday evening, concerned I was the one to take down on AutoX....like I have skills, right :dunno:

It was a great event I found out I suck at auto x but I gave it a shot and it was fun! also made it to the track kinda late I got one run in and the sy was so dam hot my run sucked. so I figured since the wife keeps buggin me about runnin it what the hell give her a shot. so I gave her a few tips and let her go she staged good and did not red lite she toock off really good too and was about to put in a great first ever run but she had no idea where to stop at. So her first ever run was not so good 1/4 @ 18.02 60ft was 2.40 and 1/8 @ 9.97. 2nd run alot better she drove around the water box prestaged good staged and was ready to go one problem TRYME was in the other lane! But she was not skeered the lites went green they toock off and she put down a good time for her 2nd run ever in her life @ 14.46 I was impressed and she said it was AWSOOME I agree it was very cool. only one problem now we need to finde her a typhoon :tup: If any one has pix or video of her 2nd run can you put them up or send to Rottiemapa@aol.com my phone was in the sy I got no pix thanx Gary
