control arm testers?

Alright I have a local chassis shop building myself a set of front control arms to use with coil over shocks.

This is where I need help we plan to make a few extra sets to sell but I want them tested and evaluated. These are being tested on my truck now and are great! They also have been x-ray before and just this weekend and are structurally perfect.
Now that I trust them I would like to know if there is anyone interested in testing them for me? If you like them you can then buy them for cost if you hate them I will buy you lunch and you send them back.

They are all aluminum arms and the weight savings are pretty nice. Also if someone with a lightweight truck or a fully dressed truck different trucks for this would be nice.

This is not an ad of sorts and not sure where to put it so if need be move it. Thanks

let me know thanks

Re: control arm testers?

There will be pictures tomorrow when we get them back from the x-ray.

Also if I did not mention they are stock geometry and very stout. I we made sure to make a unique design. While utilizing a stock style ball joint. I am using a moog ball joint.

Just curious as to what kind of testing you are doing? i do know up here any thing other that cast aluminum will not survive Michigan roads, also is there a finish or plating on theres to prevent galling or corosion?

They are being coated also I have them on my daily which is in the sig and it live out side. when I took them off they were covered in mud and are fine. We are looking into other types of coating but are more in the design check first.

Also I meant to say cost of materials. Not cost of total work.

And justin yeah I will be around a little but not sure what I will be up to just give me a call.

Re: control arm testers?

Just to let you know Minnesota is not to kind either. Dig and Justin can vouch for the white Typoon I have that is from Minnesota that needs every piece of sheet metal since salt is used hear. But they will be coated to take the abuse of the elements we are both very weary of safety and will have sets ready for testing around turkey-day.

And yeah dig I will bring them by sometime.

So anyone else interested? Looking for a couple trucks to use them on and may be do a write up on install and how they like them. Also you will still need to buy coilovers I suggest the one meant for stock arms so if you hate the arms you don't have to be control arms. And if concerned with the arms strength they can be made out of steel.

How about me testing a set down here in SE Texas? I've got a stock 92 Ty.

Re: control arm testers?

How much for them for testers? I have my coilovers on the way it would be nice to do them ant the same time.
