Re: 11.97 @ 112 on 10-12 lbs of boost

Thanks Jeff!!

How hard was the install... Any plans for a walkthrough thread for us slightly slow people???

See ya,

The install is not bad, there are basically only 4 wires to hook up aside from the stuff that plugs in.

Ground (2 places)
12V battery
12V ignition
VSS (if you have 700, otherwise 80e will plug in and get VSS).

From there you can add wires for fans, AC, meth, etc.

The hardest part really is deciding if you want to leave the stock ecm wiring or not, if you remove it getting over the fact of taking a big pair of wire cutters and knowing which wires you no longer need.

What more info would you like, be glad to make a video but not sure what people would want to see. If someone wanted me to do install or me to help I am sure we could figure something out, as would direct Holley vendors. (I have zero connection to holley).

Jeff Im guessing the holly system needs to see water temp and TPS? Did you use the stock sensors or does one come with them in system. If not did the holly harness plug into the stock sensors.
Also did you run a crank trigger for signal? sequental FI or is it Batch fire still? Sorry for the questions my bowtie motor is done and im thinking about running a holly system instead of the Big Stuff3. Im going to swap it out and run the BS3 in my syclone with a fresh stock block build.
The place that built my motor wants to engine dyno and break in my motor. It be alot easer to install the holly system fresh instead of ripping all he harness out of the truck and tem reinstallingb them again with the BS3.

TPS has the wrong plug on it, still 3 wires easy to solder the other style on it, or I am sure someone sells adaptor. If your running aftermarket TB anyways might just be plug in.

coolant sensors are all stock

other thing is IAC uses LS style IAC, in this case we already had an LS IAC so that plugged in, but again 4 wires, could buy/make adaptor or just solder the right end on.

Running stock dist, you buy an adaptor that plugs in. Right now it is bank to bank, but there are option to fire 2 injectors (1 from each rail) at a time (maybe not in sync with valves) but idea is to minimize pressure loss firing the whole bank. If you go crank signal then you can do sequential obviously.

Anybody curious about it go to holleyefi.com and download the software, it is all there to look at.

I Got my dominator from Hood a few weeks back and will start on the install after I finally get my pte turbo installed & some other misc projects done. Do you have any tips on the removal of the stock harness(what to leave and what to remove).

The typhoon has been siting for over three years with a built engine and 4l80e. I'm hoping to get this beast going in the next few moths(before it gets hot!!)

Thanks
