Finally got to the ty.. changed the oil (filled filter full of oil), put in new die hard gold battery & went for it.. started in 2 seconds idled high for 5 seconds then came down to a super smooth idle.. remembered I use royal purple max boost wich acts as a stabilizer so figured try to get away...

Just got 4 new bilateins for my 93 ty, couple questions.. Anyone paint em black? The yellow/blue combo is quite "colorful" for a black ty What do ya do with the leveling system, disconnect? Remove?

Any recommendations what to do (or not do) with the stock wheels in terms of detailing/refinishing? Im in new england area thanks

What is preferred scanmaster 3 or G? Im leaning 3 but wanted to hear from orhers.. where & how is best place to mount so it doesnt look gaudy, still visible and doesnt leave a mark? Still need a boost mechanical boost gauge or can u just use scanmaster for boost? Im getting a 2 bar velosyty...

One of the buick gurus told me if a gn has sat for years he would dump 20 quarts of oil into the motor, drain then refill with proper amount just making sure nothing crazy like that is recommended..

Anyone here have their truck done? Recommend it? Im looking at RI motorsports in Franklin Ma.. its a 93 ty black/black low miles wanna start driving it again figured the process would protect it a little bit.

Try royal purple hps oil, it may run a little cooler.

Figured timing would make it quicker not necessarily faster.. no tuning for me kind of a set and forget it guy.. will however monitor kr

I posted on tt's support forum about running higher octane (95) with an otherwise stock setup.. Eric wad kind enough to respond promptly saying he would add timing if staying with 2 bar or increase boost if changing to 3 bar.. curious your thoughts on what would be better.

Hey Chris.. I'll be on this soon with my 93 black/black ty & will be using zaino bros perfect tire gloss, used it on a previous identical ty with excellent results
