FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

In my never ending quest to get my jackstand warrior on the road , another road block I have come to . The x-over that I made for these Rpm TT headers puts my dp in the hitting the tire range when turning the wheel . Rather than hack up these beautiful ss pipes and hope it works , I have decided to just sell the entire kit and make a new 4" dp to accompany the new turbo Im buying myself for christmas .

I figure if I have to make a new one , why not just do what i planned on doing in the future .. and go 4 " . The whole kit has 3 miles on it or and hour or two of motor running time . The turbo itself has never seen more than the couple psi I could build while in park . The 3 miles I drove on it with what turned out to be a bad 80e Tci tcu at the time , did not allow me to build any boost so rest assured they were a smooth 3 miles . Anywho heres some pics ....

To buy a new kit today is a little over 2k . Im looking to get 1550 plus shipping for the entire kit (mid-low 11's turbo, dp, minigate, & braided drain line) .This will directly bolt on and is ready to run. Thank you .

Anyone wondering my next plan I will say something in the low 70's :myclone:

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

total noob question....
is in an optical illusion or is the passenger side exhaust aimed
away from the turbo ?

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

Its just looks that way. the x-over pipe is opened up at that 90* so the air has a direct shot to the turbo .
Oh well , i will be keeping this turbo kit for a little while longer from the looks of it . I might just have to make another 3" dp .. Lots of views with no posts of interest . What is the $$$ too much ?

i dont think you are asking too much, just that most people will have a hard time spending money right now, keep with the bumps and see where it goes.

Thanks , thats kinda what i was thinking .I know the exhaust housing has some surface rust from sitting and the compressor side needs to be polished up to look new again , but thought I would post this up before christmas in case someone was looking for a medium sized upgrade .

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

Only since YOU asked for a pricing opinion, I'll give one.

VERY interested in the setup for my Sy, but a little more than I'd like to pay for it, based on what I've paid for similar setups in the past (bigger hairdryer, wg, dp).

But again, I'm kinda cheap when I can.

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

I forgot to add, the turbo kits I've bought cost much less, but had considerable more use. I'll contemplate the deal on my way down to Orlando tonight. Really is a good deal any which way.

Man I'd love to call dibs on this, but I'm still waiting on my motor to be completed. Just out of curiosity what would shipping be to zip code 78861?

Also would this be a good match for a complete build engine w/vortec heads and a 2500 rpm Converter?

Thanks,

Jeremy Franke

38 for shipping with insurance . I believe 2800 was the desired stall . It will work great with your vortecs but with the 2500 stall it may have a little lag . But maybe not . Ive honestly had zero chances to try this turbo out .

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

one last shot at selling it all as a kit ... complete bolt on , fits all stock syty's !

if no one wants it all , the dp will be sold off "OR" put on the shelf and another will be made that fits these headers . i need to finish my sy one way or another .

good chance for someone to save some $$$ , hit me up and we can talk !

Re: FS- RPM 60-1 Turbo Kit

I spent a lot of money that night! I'm sure it all went to diapers, baby formula, crack cocaine, and "hair did" money lol. I'm still kiicking the idea around of getting this.
